Join ITW today and come grow with us! The Maintenance Technician provides support to the manufacturing floor for repair and upkeep of presses, auxiliary, support, and equipment.
A preventive maintenance program and work order system will be used to facilitate this.
The Maintenance Technician will be able to contribute to the continuous improvement of operations through their input and involvement.
This role plays an integral role in the repair and improvement of secondary equipment and process to ensure that ITW Powertrain receives the most efficient processes possible.
To participate in the support of the secondary processes on the production floor.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all aspects of the Maintenance Department.
This includes:
Completion of assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
Completion of assigned work orders.
Maintaining inventory stock in an orderly manner.
Maintenance of secondary equipment and automation.
Continuous improvement to processes and equipment to meet goals.
Electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs and upgrades.
Responsible for reporting any unsafe or not-normal condition to a Supervisor (i.
e.
equipment not functioning properly).
Responsible for adherence to the company quality and environmental policy, procedures and management systems.
Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and OH&S standards and all company safety and environmental policies, procedures, and management systems.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for carrying out any reasonable request by a Supervisor.
Address manufacturing issues that are causing production bottle necks, high scrap, or reduced efficiencies.
Be continually thinking of better ways to manufacture plastic parts, and be willing to push for change.
